Hi, I’m Jérémy Orsat
Currently doing my PhD in management at the University of Geneva, I am a social science researcher interested in scientists' mobility, knowledge transfer and innovation.
I am currently writing a PhD thesis on the knowledge transfer between academia and industry at the Geneva School of Economics and Management of the University of Geneva.
Master thesis: "Impact of representation format and prevalence on Bayesian inference in the context of Covid-19". Grade: 6/6. Based on previous studies on Bayesian reasoning, my master thesis showed that individuals perform better when information is presented in natural frequencies instead of conditional probabilities, since it is the informational environment they evolve in.
Beside my specialization, courses in data science (Exploratory data analysis, dataset preparation, and predictive models such as CART, neural networks, super-vector machine, random forest and k-nearest neighbors), Marketing (Quantitative methods for marketing and consumer behavior), and evolutionary biolog (Basic concepts of evolutionary biology and social evolution, oriented toward mathematical models of evolution)
Specialization in HR Management: HR administration - Labor law - Skills management - Ethnography - Ergonomics - Organizational sociology - Neurosciences
Program: Management, accounting, finance, supply chain, HR, mathematics, communication, information systems, project management and quality management.
